Position Summary
Rutherford’s Market is looking for a friendly and reliable part-time team member to join our growing market in Colborne. The candidate will gain experience working in a friendly team environment and have an opportunity to grow with the market.
Core Responsibilities
• Assisting customers with a friendly and helpful attitude
• Operating the cash register and handling transactions
• Stocking shelves, coolers, and displays
• Assisting with produce displays and product rotation
• Keeping the store clean, organized, and welcoming
• Helping with general day-to-day market tasks as needed
• Assisting in the garden centre and bakery when needed
Qualifications
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working on your feet and lifting light to moderate items
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Retail or grocery experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
