Position Summary
Our high-growth business is seeking a General Labourer who can work independently as well as within a team to join our Fidelity Homes Inc. team. This position will be reserved for a person who takes pride in their work and who is detail oriented and driven. Quality craftmanship is the backbone of Fidelity Homes and it is very important to us. This position will play a key role in the organization’s ability to efficiently meet deadlines and contribute to the organization’s total customer satisfaction effort.
Core Responsibilities
- Complete all tasks as accurately and efficiently as your ability allows.
- Read a tape measure and completing cutting tasks/use various power tools.
- Comply with company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
- Support all team members as required.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Dedicated and able to start work on time everyday.
- Ensure task completion to the highest level of detail.
- Demonstrate the company’s dedication to customer service and professionalism.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Be able to work alongside other carpenters and/or independent subcontractors.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience in new residential home building
- Valid “G” driver’s license with access to reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
- Able to work long days, flexible work hours & weekends
- Ideal certificates that would be considered an asset are: Working from heights, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Platform Lift tickets.
