Key areas of expansion are focused on Road Construction, Bridge Rehabilitation and Reconstruction programs across the Thunder Bay, Rainy River & Kenora districts.
Position Overview

Responsibilities
- Build, set, and strip formwork for bridge components including decks, piers, abutments, and wing walls
- Interpret drawings and assist with layout, elevations, and grade control
- Assist with installation of reinforcing steel (rebar) as required
- Support concrete placing, vibrating, finishing, and curing operations
- Prepare and maintain work areas, including access platforms and falsework
- Operate tools and equipment such as skid steers, concrete vibrators, power tools, and hand tools
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment on site
- Assist with traffic control and site safety setup when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free worksite
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Work collaboratively with crew members, forepersons, and supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in heavy civil or structural concrete construction (bridge experience preferred)
- Experience with bridge formwork systems and falsework considered a strong asset
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with rebar placement and concrete practices
- Experience working at heights and around fall protection systems
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment and heavy equipment
- Ability to travel to project sites as required. G-Class driver’s license (preferred)
- Able to work long days, flexible work hours and weekends
