Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Skilled Labourers to join our high-growth organization. This role is ideal for detail-oriented, driven individuals who takes pride in their work. This position plays a key role in meeting project deadlines and supporting overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Build, layout, and strip bridge formwork in accordance with plans and specifications, including grade calculations
- Assist with concrete placement, finishing, and curing for bridge structures
- Prepare job sites, including excavation, layout, and setup for structural work
- Operate tools and equipment such as skid steers, power tools, and hand tools
- Level and place aggregate to required grades
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite at all times
- Direct traffic in and around active construction zones as required
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including consistent use of PPE
- Work collaboratively with crew members and support the Foreman as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in bridge construction, formwork, or heavy civil concrete work
- Experience with structural concrete, falsework, and shoring systems is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and small equipment
- Experience working in environmentally sensitive areas is an asset
- Valid Class G driver’s license
- Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and travel as required
